Nicotine Replacement Treatment

NRT gradually replaces cigarettes by giving you the nicotine fix through other means, such as gums, patches, inhalers, tablets, lozenges and sprays. Before this works, you must stop smoking first, so you will still need lots of determination to successfully quit. But be careful - you might become addicted to the NRT instead.
Cold Turkey

This is possibly the thoughest way to quit. Going cold turkey means relying on will power alone - no treatment or pharmacotherapy drugs. Withdrawal symptoms are likely to be intense, such as feeling tired, cranky and sick.

To turn over a new leaf, there are smarter options available that help make quitting easier

Varenicline

Smoking cessation treatments, such as Varenicline, trick your mind into thinking that you do no enjoy smoking. At the same time it lessens withdrawal symptoms like mood swings and fatigue. Side effects such as nausea, insomnia, abnormal dreams and headache may occur.
